An icy distraction

As you can see by the mince pie and festive scarf, I'm feeling a a little nostalgic about Christmas already. Today should have been spent indoors hitting the books, but being the master of procrastination that I am, I managed to avoid all the unpleasantness by going for a walk in the park. The wind was icy cold but perfect for a crisp winter day, weather associated with red cheeks and noses and roaring fires. Note to self- no matter how much you love that hat, you love your ears more. An old Japanese proverb says "one kind word can warm three winter months". And my word is "hat"! So next time wear a one that keeps them toasty!

Much love
Danie B
