The lowdown.

Cheeky selfie- just a reminder for all you who I am, it has been a dreadfully long time.

Ok guys *deep breath*, I'm back.
This time for good.
A lot has happened since I last posted.
I got into university.
I left the country. (Pretty casual statement just to start things off!)
I now live in Scotland attend the University of Stirling.
Managed to cook without poisoning myself or setting off the fire alarm.
-Note: The same cannot be said for the flat below, 7 in the morning on my day off- I'll not repeat the conversation that took place hehe).
I've identified the weird one in my flat (because let's face it, there's always one right?), eliminating the possibility that it's me (well...).
Drank for the entirety of Fresher's Week with minimal social casualties (I say minimal, not non-existent.... oh dear)
...ctnd- Learnt that £1 drinks are not your friend.
That Fresher's Flu is REAL- don't be fooled, you can't hear the lecturer over the amount of people seemingly coughing up a lung.
Successfully employed the smile of superiority to the attendees of the Sixth Form Open Day despite my still semi-clueless state.
Spent my food money on a new coat and boots, so I can be warm whilst eating Poptarts three times a day.
Simultaneously having to repeat my Northern Irish accent for the amusement of the 70% Scottish population whilst gaining a flock of fellow outsiders who are relieved to talk without having to annunciate for five minutes.
Discovered that the distance of a 2 mile walk doesn't seem as far as it did before when faced with the return bus fare.
Oh and the Holy Grail of discovery? Dominos deliver until 5am, more useful than it sounds!

So that's you up to date with my university life so far! I'll be posting on fashion faced with a student budget, any words of wisdom I can share and anything I find vaguely interesting/amusing-
 Enjoy bitchachos!

This week I'm loving..

What I'm loving this week...

 1. Summer ankle boots- perfect for this bi-polar weather we are experiencing at the moment.

2. Thoughtful presents- My friend recently made me a massive chocolate cake loaded with creamy pink icing and cherry's mmmm.

3. Cara Delevingne- still loving this lady! Adore her slightly grungy street style and those eyebrows. There is also a colouring book of photos of her released this week- enough said.

4. Time to think- sounds silly but having time to myself just to relax and breath is a luxury.

5. This song: LOVE, anything Bastille really.

It's good to be back

Topshop necklace, Marc Jacobs watch and random wrist band from previous travels.

Well this is my long awaited return (for me anyway!), mostly due to a hectic time of exams and other endlessly boring things. My summer has almost (but not officially) begun and I plan to fill my days with my friends, laughs, good books, dancing, writing, eating amazing food that I probably shouldn't and enjoying my life as it is now before I head off to Uni. (hopefully!)

It's good to be back.

song of the week

Alt-J "Breezeblocks"

I chose this week's song because of the BRIT Awards last night, which were amazing! Alt-J didn't win their catergory but it inspired me to listen to some of their other stuff, this has been on repeat constantly. My soulmate (:P), Ben Howard, won 2 BRITS, and Mumford and Sons cleaned up too- as well as a flawless come back from Justin Timberlake.
I just love awards ceremonies, I had to be physically restrained to stop tweeting, I might have gotten a little carried away! You can follow me @DanieBann.

Did you watch the BRITs last night?

hats off

Zara jeans, Topshop jumper, covetable hat.

Today was spent drinking tea, eating oatmeal and raisin cookies, swapping amazing music and trying on my friend's beautiful hat (which I found very difficult to let go of).
I love lazing days like that.

fragile hearts

It has been a month today since my last post, I think I really needed this time to refocus on what this website is about and not just write posts for the sake of it!
With Valentine's Day tomorrow, I thought I would share some amazing photography I came across recently. It's cheesy but let's face it, it's unavoidable- you'll also notice that some of the photos are aimed at those of us who find themselves without plans tomorrow. Think of it this way, you can always spend the money on yourself for a change ;)
